Beschreibung

Der fein glasierte Topf Simona wird heute von den Töpfern Bergs Potters in der Toskana hergestellt. Der Topf wurde auf einem Flohmarkt in Montmartre, Paris gefunden und es ist nicht bekannt, wer ihn ursprünglich entworfen hat. Man weiß jedoch, dass er aus dem Quartier Latin in Paris stammt und im 19. Jahrhundert in französischen Haushalten beliebt war. Die glasierten Simona-Töpfe sind jetzt in zwei wunderschönen Farben erhältlich, die den Raum selbst an den grauesten und trübsten Tagen aufhellen.

Bergs Potter

Bergs Potter wurde 1942 von Victor Berg gegründet, der dann eine Töpferei in Nørrebro, Kopenhagen, erbte. Neben dem Verkauf von Töpfen begann er dort auch Blumen zu verkaufen, was mehr Menschen in seinen Laden lockte. Victors zwei Kinder begannen später in der Firma zu arbeiten und das Geschäft wuchs. Ende der 1980er Jahre besuchten sie die Toskana, wo sie Inspiration für Material, Form und Design fanden. Heute wird Bergs Potter in Skandinavien, Finnland, Deutschland, Frankreich, Großbritannien und den USA verkauft und lebt seit Generationen weiter.
